Default Arabic on iPhone (All Versions)

Anything before 1.1.3
1, 1.0, 1.0.2,1.1.1, 1.1.2

In Installer
go to Sources
Edit > Add
add apps.iphoneislam.com
Click on Ok and Done

go to Install
scroll down to iPhoneIslam
Install the following programs:
Arabic Font
Arabic Keyboard
Fix Arabic SMS

In Settings
General > International > Keyboards
turn on Russian

1.1.3 & 1.1.4
At the moment, there is no fix for reading Arabic SMSs.
So you will have to use SMSd to read them.

In Installer
go to Sources
Edit > Add
add apps.iphoneislam.com
Click on Ok and Done

go to Install
scroll down to iPhoneIslam
Install the following programs:
Arabic Font
Arabic Keyboard

In Settings
General > International > Keyboards
turn on Russian

At the time of writing, SMSd was still 0.2.1.
Check it to see if it has been updated since.
You will require 0.2.3 to work on 1.13 & after.
If it is updated then install it and skip the rest of these steps.

On your Mac (or PC)
Download the following SMSd
http://amrut.joshi.googlepages.com/SMSD-v0.2.3beta1.zip
& unzip it.

Using Fugu (or WinSCP)
Connect to your iPhone (check google on how to do that.)
Log in to the root directory /
Then copy the contents of SMSd download (Library & Applications) to this directory.
Overwrite existing files.

Troubleshooting post 1.1.3
There are times when the keyboard and any application you are in at the time quit.
If this happens, you will have to apply new permissions.

Using Fugu (or WinSCP)
Connect to your iPhone (check google on how to do that.)
goto the folder

/Library/MobileEnhancer/cyrillic-keyboard.men/

and reset all the file permissions to 7777.
To do that choose the file and get it's info, and set the permissions at the bottom.
You will have to do this for every single file in the directory.

Then do the same for Arial font under /Library/Fonts/cache.

Note: I suggested 7777 as the permission to make it simple on newer users.
It will work, so I decided not to post the exact permission for each file.
If you are experienced, then you will know what they are.
If you don't, stick with 7777
