Want to Unlock my iPhone for Australia Trip

I live in the U.S. and I'm coming to Melbourne for a 6 month stay. Would love to use my iPhone if I could unlock it and then buy a Pay as you Go SIM card from Telstra/Optus/Vodafone. Any suggestions? Also who is the best carrier in your opinion? Thanks.

Hey, you can easily unlock your iPhone as you may know already..and for using a prepaid here in Melbourne, I think you should go for Vodafone..their call rates and coverage is really good. Telstra is good too but they'll kill you with their expensive call rates..
